You are an interior design consultant. Tell us more about your business.
Custom furniture and restoration is what empowers my passion for this industry. I truly love different projects whether it be modern or classical it’s important to be able to see and feel each project individually. That’s what people see in me.
What do you mean by interior design?
Being a designer is many different levels and the interior is an office space or a home, something that should feel inviting.

How does an interior designer differ from a decorator or an architect?
Normally I’m the person that wants to break down a wall or add a walkway. I add the realistic atmosphere of living in space.
How does a designer determine what is beautiful and what is not?
The clients decide and we put it together in a way that is functional and sophisticated.

Who sets trends in interior design?
Artists of different Cultures around the world is what I believe starts a trend. It’s fun and cool to always find something unique.
Is a beautiful interior expensive?
It should feel expensive to one self as it’s your own space.

What myths have you come across about your profession?
The timeline. Construction always seems to go past delivery date and with any profession getting a second opinion is always best.

Who do you admire in the design world, do you have a role model?
• Zaha Hadid that she died recently but she started to be very unique and revolutionary.
• Norma Foster is retired but the studio still works and has an amazing interior, very modern and minimal.
• Peter Marino, Louis Vuitton designer of the store but he also does amazing private villas.
• John pawson the king of minimalism.

Where do you get your inspiration?
Traveling has always added so much inspiration to my life and opens our eyes to the basic needs.
You are also passionate about fashion. Tell us about it — what is fashion for you today?
Everything connects with fabrics so it’s a full circle of living space and now we are more aware of making better organic choices even by what we wear and sleep in. Fashion is a natural form of expression and for me it flows with where I am.

If you were to go back to the beginning of your career, would you change anything?
Think we always want to change something but as of now I’m happy to be right where I am. Thank you for this interview.
